"Which record should I hear?"

As a piano teacher I am often asked this question by my students. Here, finally, is a list of great (and sometimes not so great) historical piano recordings, ordered by composers and works (alphabetically). These recordings were collected by my wife, Lina Yeh, and me for our radio program on historical pianists at Philharmonic Radio Taipei. For information on the pianists themselves I recommend the excellent guide by Allan Evans at Arbiter.
